Binance has restarted registrations and entry to services and products in Belgium some three months after the nation’s markets regulator ordered the cryptocurrency trade to stop providers, it mentioned earlier this week.
On June 23, the Monetary Providers and Markets Authority ordered Binance to stop offering its crypto services within the nation, accusing CEO Changpeng Zhao of violating a prohibition by “providing and offering trade providers in Belgium between digital currencies and authorized currencies, in addition to custody pockets providers, from nations that aren’t members of the European Financial Space.”
Now, “numerous Binance services and products are accessible once more to Belgian customers who’ve accepted our new Phrases of Use,” the platform mentioned in an X (previously Twitter) post on Monday.
